Senior High Mission
Trip
Under the sponsorship of the Rev. Don Cooper,
the Senior High care-a-van mission trip was
created in 1969 to give students the opportunity
to perform short-term missionary projects. The
first Senior High summer mission trip went to
St. Louis on a study-missionary-work experience
for eight days in an inner city church.
The
tradition continues today as both our youth
and adults work together to spread the Good
News of Jesus Christ to needy families, here
in the US and in Mexico. They have worked with
organizations such as Habitat for Humanity,
Christian Outreach Rehab, World Servants, and
Appalachian Service Project.
In 2007, they will travel to Minnesota to help those in need.
